Common Questions

Will the treatment be painful?

We will take every measure to ensure that your procedure is in no way uncomfortable or painful. If treatment is needed, we will inject a small amount of anesthesia to gently numb a concentrated area of your mouth. For most patients, the feeling of numbness usually subsides after 2-3 hours.

Will I need to return to your office for follow-ups after the procedure is finished?

Yes, for most root canal treatments, we recommend that patients return to the office 1 year after the procedure was finished. Our office will send a reminder notice to you when you are due for a recall appointment.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans.  To help keep costs down for our patients we are a preferred provider for: Aetna, Assurant, Cigna, Deltacare, Delta Dental, Dental Health Services, Metlife, Premera, Regence, United Concordia and Washington Dental Service.

When is payment for my treatment due?

For patients with insurance, only the estimated portion of your bill not covered by insurance will be due at the time of service.

For patients without insurance, we request the total fee be paid at the time of service (we offer a 5% full payment courtesy for patients without insurance).  If this is not possible, special financial arrangements can be made prior to treatment.

Can I make payments for my treatment total?

Special arrangements can be made prior to treatment.  Please contact us if you are interested and we would be happy to discuss your options.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, debit card, VISA, Mastercard, Discover and Care Credit.
